Musings from the Desert (1) │ Muyiwa Olasehinde

So!
It's been a lo…ong while since I have blogged here and it is not unconnected with the myriad of events happening to and around me. Barely do I have time for introspection, as things just seem to be happening so fast and almost going out of control.
However, I have recently being doing some musings and I have decided to pen them down.

My Birthday…
July 22 was the day
and was it a blast? You can trust me on that.
Text messages poured in like rain-showers, Calls were unlimited and Facebookers were not exempt too as my wall was flooded with prayers and messages.
However, the most exciting part of the day were the surprise get-togethers organised by two groups – first at my room and the second group waylaid me at the photo-studio.
Here are some of the exciting pictures from the day.

Okay! Here we go...

And with the Pastorate of GSF and others...hmmm...

Bonus Photo for you...

Overall, I am grateful to God for a new year, grateful for the benefit of family and friends; for the privilege to impact and impart lives. The years gone by have been exciting but I am super excited at an unfolding future and enthusiastic about the prospect of bigger achievements along the road of life. For me, it is a lifting.
Thanks everyone for making the day a blast.

And SHE Finally Came…
Four months ago, I got into a relationship with the sweetest lady in the entire world.
Yes, you heard that right.
Words fail me to describe her awesomeness. She is all I ever dreamed about. She is a darling and I'm liking and loving all I am seeing day by day.
It's been four months of bliss and I am learning to value the moments I share with her.

Am I Ready For Marriage?
A few days ago, one of my closest friends asked me "Are you ready for marriage?"

Well, I won't tell you my answer and how I broke it down into financial, physical, sexual, physiological, psychological and spiritual readiness.

All I can, however, say is this:
Each and every day comes with her peculiar challenges, and in tackling them, I am not just developing muscles, I am also learning and gaining essential wisdom which I am confident will be useful for life and living.

In concluding, my life currently can be summarized in these words:
I am Living, Loving and Learning.

Ciao!
