10 Interesting Facts about Me ||| 30DWC ||| Day 4



  1. I'm a millennial
    • probably the most interesting fact about me because most people cannot accurately predict my age. I actually look older than I actually am, a trait I inherited from my father, I think. I also get accorded a lot of respect on that basis.
  2. I am multi-lingual
    • English, Pidgin English, Yoruba, Ondo, Hausa, French
    • I understand and speak the 6 languages in varying proficiencies.
  3. I was always the youngest in my class, even till my early university days.
    • My body size and demeanor almost never gave me out.
  4. My favourite food combo is Gala and Coca-cola
    • I acquired this preference in my last days in the university.
    • ironically, I use this combo to 'treat' my stomach upsets in more recent times
  5. I have never tasted fufu
    • Fufu is a Nigerian/Ghanaian delicacy made from cassava flour and/or mashed plantain
    • I can give up the table if a co-occupant orders fufu. I just don't fancy the aroma.
  6. I broke my right big toe in 2002 while playing football with my brother in our sitting room.
    • had POP on my foot for a few weeks
    • Used crutches for a few days
    • was called 'gurugu' (Hausa word for crippled) by my then classmates while the episode lasted.
  7. I preached my first message at the age of 12
    • It was Children Praise day at our church
    • was only told I would be preaching the night before
    • I sure preached up a storm.
  8. I can give my right arm for a friend.
    • One of my most noticeable features. You cannot know me and not know my friends.
    • This has sure gotten me into some troubles in the past
  9. I am a multi-instrumentalist.
    • Drums, Keyboard, Recorder, Mouth Organ, Guitar, Trumpet.
    • I have had a level of proficiency in each of these instruments at a certain point.
  10. I am my own biggest critic.
    • reason why criticism rarely gets to me.
